Wireless keyboard firmware: 50 ms → 0.1 ms latency
Split keyboards on ZMK/Zephyr with an e-paper dongle: profiled and removed input latency, added live typing metrics.
500×lower median latency (space + Shift)
12layers in the ported layout

Problem
Space and Shift felt laggy on a Ferris Sweep with a display dongle; battery reports were unreliable.
What was done
- Measured key-to-report latency and removed the delay in the key-processing path: median 50.2 ms → 0.1 ms.
- Typing-speed widget on the nice!nano + SSD1681 e-paper dongle; battery diagnostics from logs.
- Ported a 12-layer layout to Corne for Windows / Omarchy, with a window-management layer.
Result
Input feels instant; the code is public on GitHub — a good example of how I debug real-time embedded systems.
